Editorial Policy
How we research and update our guides
CRSCalcu.ca is an independent site operated by Gabzan Immi Ltd. in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are not affiliated with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the Government of Canada.
Sources we use
- IRCC pages on canada.ca: the CRS criteria, the Express Entry program pages, and the rounds of invitations page and data.
- Ministerial Instructions and official IRCC news releases, including the Express Entry changes page.
- Provincial government pages for provincial nominee programs, such as WelcomeBC for BC PNP draws.
We don’t use forum posts or social media as a source for rules or numbers. When a guide mentions an applicant’s experience, we say so, and we never present it as an official rule.
How we check and update
- Draw numbers, cut-off scores and invitation counts are checked against IRCC’s or the province’s published round data.
- When IRCC announces a rule change, we update the calculator and the guides that mention the rule, and we say clearly which date the new rule starts.
- We do not predict exact draw dates or cut-off scores. When we describe trends, we show the past data they are based on.
- Each guide shows the date it was last changed, and the main guides end with a list of the official pages we used.
Who writes and reviews
Guides and calculators are written and maintained by Aria Sterling, who builds and maintains CRSCalcu.ca for Gabzan Immi Ltd. Aria is not a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or a lawyer, and nothing on this site is legal or immigration advice. For your own case, speak to an RCIC or a lawyer.
Corrections
If you find an error, email contactus@crscalcu.ca with the page link. We check every report against official sources, fix confirmed errors, and update the page date.

The site is free and is supported by display ads (Google AdSense). Advertisers do not influence our content or calculator results.
